This clumping evergreen Iris bears tall, narrow leaves to 30" tall and white flowers marked purple in the center on stalks up to 3' tall. This variety has stiffer, darker foliage than the bicolor form. It requires sun to part shade with little or no summer watering when established. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Texas Ranger is a dense shrub that grows from 6'-8' high and wide. It has pink flowers in the summer which accent the gray foliage. It tolerates wind, heat and full sun. It is drought tolerant and attracts hummingbirds.

Blue Rug Juniper

Common name:Blue Rug Juniper
Botanical name:Juniperus horizontalis 'Wiltonii'

As an evergreen shrub which is used as a prostrate ground cover, this juniper is valued for its silver, blue green foliage which remains a constant blue color throughout winter. It is useful on slopes and when draped over walls. Junipers are highly combustible plants.
